Both of these stations also provide a lifeboat service to rescue any "kiteless"!

As the name suggests, the Kitebeach is the central spot. Many parking lots, many kiters. Here you can go kiting between the pros. Great beach for take-off and landing. Sanitary facilities are also available. Good shopping and food options right across the street. You drive to Melkbos when the wind in Blouwberg is too strong and BigBay too full. The spot is located north of the town center in the direction of the nuclear power plant. Large tarred parking lot. Huge beach, so landing and starting no problem. Great waves.

Outside the water

There is no real shopping center in Cabarete. The shops have settled down next to the main street. Here you can find Dominican artifacts, cigars and typical souvenirs. Cabarete offers a varied cuisine. A typical Dominican meal is Bandera Dominicana, which should definitely be tried. In the city itself, there are many bars and pubs which encourages the typically relaxed Dominican lifestyle. In addition to kite surfing, alternative sports such as diving, biking, rafting, horseback riding and golf can also be practiced.
